  66.            • 531 more error codes have been added (for a total of 5,883 error codes)
  67.            • More detailed explanations have been added or enhanced. The database
  68.               now has well over 1,000 detailed explanations in it.
  69.            • 24 more error groups have been added (for a total of 216 groups)
  70.            • An "Error Phrase" window has been added. This option allows you to
  71.               look an error up when no number or name is included in the error text.
  72.               Detailed explanations for all phrases listed are included.
  73.            • Explanation statistics are now available detailing
  74.               1) the version of B&B when the explanation first appeared
  75.               2) when the explanation was last updated
  76.               3) the number of characters contained in the explanation
  77.               4) the number of words contained in the explanation
  78.               5) the number of BIG words contained in the explanation

  86.            • The Numerically sorted Mac OS error list may be displayed in
  87.                ascending or descending order

  89.    Changes:
  90.            • All "Close" buttons have been eliminated. They were redundant.
  91.            • Error names of none001 through none459 have been renamed to
  92.               NoName001 through NoName459. The use of none999-style naming
  93.               has been dropped.
  94.            • The use of "PRO" to refer to the professional version of Black & Bleu™
  95.               has been replaced with the letters "Pro". The standard version is
  96.               now tagged with the letters "Std".
  97.            • Explanations may now be exported from the "Big Picture" window
  98.               (Pro version only).
  99.            • The "Camera" error category has been renamed to "QuickTake Camera". 
  100.               This new name more correctly reflects the source of the errors.
  101.            • The file "About This Folder" in the "Notes" folder is now a "Read Only"
  102.               file.
  103.            • Support for Mac OS X has been withdrawn. Details are available 
  104.             in the file titled "Mac OS X Advisory".

  106.    Bugs fixed:
  107.            • Pasting a value into a Sad Mac data entry box would result in a
  108.               "No such error" message.
  109.            • Selecting the first radio button of the Computer Type in the Sad Mac
  110.               window (after first entering an error number) would fail to change
  111.               the display to a single data entry box.
  112.            • Rich Text Format (RTF) could not be pasted from the clipboard
  113.               into the "Find" window.
  114.            • MacsBug (and other "special" types of files) would appear to fail
  115.                to be properly scanned by the "Examine File" option.
  116.            • Database searches that produced a large number of items found would
  117.               cause strange behavior as the items were added to the list of results.
  118.            • Clicking the mouse in the Mas OS Errors window Popup Menu but not
  119.               selecting anything would sometimes change the display anyway.
  120.            • Several spelling errors (primarily in the "Feedback" sections of the
  121.               explanations) were corrected.

  127.            • When using Mac OS X, double-clicking the "B & B Database" file would 
  128.               cause a warning to display saying that the "Examine a File" option

  161.            • Due to the increased number of errors in the database, the
  162.                Mac OS Errors window and the Numeric List window now display
  163.                the word "Initializing" while the database is copied from disk to RAM.
  164.                Previously, only machines with a CPU rating of less than 90 MHz would
  165.                display this word
  166.            • The word "explanation" has replaced the word "version" in the
  167.                Mac OS Errors window
  168.            • The type size of the "Apple's Explanation" text has been reduced
  169.                to 9 point. This allows Apple's complete text for every error to be
  170.                displayed rather than just a portion of the longer error descriptions
  171.            • If used on Mac OS X, the "Request" (an error analysis) button is not
  172.                displayed. Request an Error Analysis  is not compatible with Mac OS X
  173.            • The explanation database has been moved out of the application itself
  174.                and into a separate file
  175.            • "Cut & Paste" is now permitted when entering your License Key
  176.            • All error lists are now presented with an alternating gray or white

  178.            • The files in the "For Developers" folder have been removed and
  179.                replaced with a note indicating that a Developer SDK is available

  184.            • The File menu item text "Export Explanation" was somewhat
  185.               confusing. It has been changed to "Export the Explanation".

  188.            • The File menu item titled "Open File" has been changed to
  189.                "Examine File for Libraries" to better indicate its purpose.
  190.            • The "Examine File for Libraries" selection is no longer available on
  191.               68k machines since the Mac OS does't use Shared Libraries when
  192.               run on these machines.

  195.            • The explanation scroll bar in the Mac OS Errors window would
  196.                sometimes get out-of-sync with the text
  197.            • Explanations that didn't fill up the entire explanation area of the
  198.                window would end with a vertical bar (text cursor)
  199.            • After re-activating either the Mac OS Errors or Sad Mac Codes window,
  200.                the explanation text would revert to the beginning of the text
  201.            • The Find window would allow you to type non-printable characters
  202.                into the "Text to locate" box. There are no non-printable characters
  203.                in the database
  204.            • The result of a Sad Mac database search would not automatically
  205.                be scrolled into view
  206.            • If you tried to "Annotate" an eror code and the annotation file
  207.                existed (but was empty), you would get a -48 error
  208.            • On 68k Macs, if you searched ONLY the Sad Mac codes for the word
  209.               "chips" and selected something from the list that was produced,
  210.               when you pressed the "View" button, your system would crash with
  211.               a type 33 error or type 1 error
  212.            • Multiple "About" windows could be opened
  213.            • After prolonged use, Black & Bleu™  would run out of memory

  251.                the download smaller). The application will "auto-configure" itself
  252.                to "standard" or "PRO" when you enter your License key.
  253.     Minor bugs fixed:
  254.            • Selecting something besides the "Complete" list from the list menu
  255.               then opening the Numeric List would cause a crash
  256.            • Exporting a Sad Mac code listed the error as 123456789
  257.            • "a" and "an" grammar corrections have been made on the main screen
